Judge Asks Author to Consider a Massively Reduced Claim after Suing eBook.bike for Infringement. John van Stry sues former Pirate Party leader Travis McCrea for copyright infringement. Van Stry demands $15,000 in damages for each title infringed, to a total of $180,000 plus costs. Judge William Bryson has now asked the author to consider accepting just $750 per work to keep things simple. The case has been rumbling in the background, consuming large sums of time and money as it has done so.
