With 70k+ reads and 37% of the Votes, the clear winner this month is:

Bart has written some great pieces in the past. This one is pretty good too. It explains some common misconceptions of the metaverse like how No One is “Building the Metaverse”. I enjoyed that and he also covers some of the biggest companies in the game right now. - HackerNoon Editor

Congratulations, @barthillerich! You have won 2000 SAND Tokens!

In the second place, we have:

This one is from a verified contributor! Would be cool to see a piece that we put no editorial time into win. I like how the writer uses a quote from Apple CEO which was big in the news to grab attention but then use that to talk about the metaverse and why AR is imperative to it. Great use of screenshots throughout, as well as statistics to bolster his points. Talks about 1 company and an AR app theyre building and it isn't too promotional but a good example of AR tech that will power the metaverse. - HAckerNoon Editor

Excellent read, @therealsjr. Congratulations on winning 1500 SAND Tokens.

Another most-liked story this month is:

I can't tell if it's the Nigerian sense of humour or the hilarious memes and analogies in this article, but this was an excellent read.  It's a careful mix of observational research and solid facts mixed together in a comical hotpot. - HackerNoon Editor

Yay, @walo! You have won third place and 1200 SAND Tokens!

In fourth place, we have

Humans are driven to explore the unknown, discover new worlds, push the boundaries of scientific and technical limits, and then push further-- oftentimes without finding out the consequences. Thankfully, this guy  has summed up the consequences in 8 H2 tags and a 5 minute read. The article has poked more loopholes  in the entire Metaverse idea, which is important to it's potential existence. - HackerNoon Editor

Yay, @strateh76 - another feather in your cap! You have won 800 SAND Tokens.

The fifth position is won by:

Talks about both the advantages and drawbacks of metaverse technologies and gives practical examples while asking important questions the readers would linger on. Excellent writing style to boot. - HackerNoon Editor

Congratulations, @moderneremite! You have won 500 SAND Tokens.
