Hackernoon is the author of a series of articles on people management. He is hoping to help PMs work more effectively with technical people (the “T”s in your organisation who are individual contributors who do not like managerial work, or trying to guess what people are thinking and navigating the political landscape. Here is the list of the best practices of good PMs and I want to document the bad habits that I observed of some shoddy PMs. The list includes: Be humble, never drag a technical person into a meeting which is unnecessarily long and try to figure out what you want only during said meeting.
