Scrum is a subset of Agile, a philosophy for managing projects and teams. It consists of small processes that need to be followed. The name was taken from rugby, aka the American football. There are 3 main roles, the product owner, Scrum Master and team members. The team should conduct sprints until the project is completed until the product doesn't need more improvements again. Scrum benefits are actually Agile benefits so much so much that everyone knows what their project needs to do.
