The Product Manager is celebrating his 1-year anniversary of being a full-time Product Manager. This year marks the anniversary of his first year in the role. He says he learned a lot of things about the role that helped him build trust with his engineering team. He hopes this personal reflection helps others who are also new to Product Management, or are considering it as a career choice. The ultimate goal is to become the main proxy for the user. You should be able to understand them, empathize with them, and represent their needs.
