The State Of The Market: Over the weekend Bitcoin traded sideways in a tight $300 range between $6,300 and $6,600. Currently the total market capitalization stands at $214 billion and most altcoins relinquished their gains over the weekend as the market turned bearish. Throughout the slaughter Bitcoin managed to hold its ground quite well which validates it’s 52.2% dominance rate. Ethereum (ETH) dropped below $300 again and Ripple (XRP) has mounted an impressive comeback from a yearly low of $0.28 to trade above the bullish trendline at $0.33.

  1. TRON intends to celebrate their new partnership with Japanese messaging giant Line by airdropping 9 million TRX tokens on BITBOX. The airdrop will continue until August 22 and the first 2,000 people to register before the deadline will receive as many as 2,000 TRX. Users who buy 50,000 TRX tokens will earn 2% daily until the airdrop ends on August 22.   3. Steve Wozniak, a co-founder of Apple, recently revealed in an exclusive interview with Nulltx that he will be soon involved in a blockchain company called Equi. He also mentioned the project will be invested by a number of well-known investors with good records. The project will start off in Malta around the time of their blockchain conference.
