CAST AI is a tool that analyzes cloud primitives and orchestration of cloud-native services. We agree that multi-cloud means that the same workload is running across two or more clouds, in an active-active or active-passive configuration. As you move to containers and Kubernetes, the solution becomes much more attainable. We call this a Multi-Cloud Architecture for Services. It’s going to be harder to move away from a single cloud provider to use multiple cloud providers.
